2-Rimandati: gusti a parte tutti hanno suonato bene sul palco.

3-Big surprise: Werecats super divertenti, il gorilla dei Nimrods che fa stage diving, Senzabenza per il loro show più tirato che abbia mai visto, il cane gigante.

4-Band che purtroppo ti sei perso: ho scoperto oggi da un video un pregevole acustico del signor Dan Vapid (probabilmente stavo bevendo in giro con qualcuno dei Proton Packs).

5-Band che vorresti vedere il prossimo anno: Hymans, Isotopes, Lillingtons, reunion Stinking Polecats. Comeback di Mega, Proton Packs, Leeches.

6-Consigli non richiesti: per quel che mi riguarda è il festival perfetto, alcuni dei giorni più belli dell’anno; non è troppo grande, è il solito “nostro concerto” ma con mille amici da tutto il mondo in più. P.s. aggiungerei il Punkrock Karaoke: backing band che suona e la gente sbronza sale a fare brutte figure sui grandi successi.

6- Consigli non richiesti: Più metal la prossima volta…. ma che cazzo, va mega bene così, grazie tosi!

2-Rimandati: Avengers. Non un brutto gruppo ma un po’ fuori target per il festival. Forse scommessa persa.

3-Big surprise: Kepi Ghoulie: non pensavo mi sarebbe piaciuto così tanto!

4-Band che purtroppo ti sei perso: Flamingo Nosebleed e Murderburgers (nel loro ultimo tour prima dello scioglimento…)

5-Band che vorresti vedere il prossimo anno: The Putz e Hangups

6-Consigli non richiesti:

– trovare una soluzione per la polvere sotto il palco. Le mie scarpe sono da buttare!

– vi prego, i bambini mandateli a letto a un’ora decente. Tenerli in piedi fino a mezzanotte non è da punk, è da coglioni.

– birra gratis a chi poga sotto il palco

2-Rimandati: Pansy Division. Capisco e non mi scandalizzo ma strappare la Bibbia non è inclusivo ed è esattamente come discriminare le checche al rovescio.

3-Big surprise: Kepi Ghoulie!  Uno che si vuole in primis divertire il resto viene poi

4-Band che purtroppo ti sei perso: Purtroppo i Senzabenza

5-Band che vorresti vedere il prossimo anno: Teenage bottlerocket o Masked intruders

6-Consigli non richiesti:

– Trovare una soluzione per la polvere sotto il palco e per la conca stupida lì annessa.

– Bicchieri della birra: sacrosanto riciclare ma cambiano proprio il gusto della birra

– Gonfiabili: non nel pogo please

– Avanti così con la ristorazione! prezzi un po’ altini ma ottima qualità

5-Band che vorresti vedere il prossimo anno: Huntingtons!

6-Consigli non richiesti:

-fornire il pubblico di spilloni per bucare i cazzo di gonfiabili che ti arrivano in testa sotto il palco

-Una spianata di cemento (siamo a Bergamo, muratori non ne mancano) sotto il palco che ho ancora la polvere nel naso (non è coca)

-Più casse pe prendere la birra che le code sono ancora kilometriche

I’m not asked about mine, but here they go:

1. The Copyrights (both with Kepi Ghoulie and without) – one of the best live punk bands nowadays, I actually became really interested in them after seeing them live. And I love Kepi, but who doesn’t?
Dan Vapid & The Cheats at the roller derby. There were quite many songs from the most recent releases, that I’m not very familiar with yet, but it sounded like a real band playing the songs, that they used to play. The band sounded tighter and more rehearsed, than the night before, and the new songs are awesome too. I had a lot of fun too during the Riverdales set, but it was mostly because of songs that I love for half of my live, rather than playing. Also I’ve seen the actual Riverdales live in 2010, so I can legitimately say, that I’ve seen better.
The Yum Yums – I got what I expected, and my expectations were really high. Morten Henriksen is definitely one of the best songwriters in Europe.

2. Flamingo Nosebleed – it was so fast, that all hooks, if there were any, were lost in their tempo. Looked like they don’t really know, what they’re doing.
Hostel acoustic performances. When there are bands like The Travoltas and Even In Blackouts doing it, you will never come close.
Also all Italian bands singing in Italian, by quite an obvious reason. Sorry, guys, nothing personal.

3. The Creeps. I don’t really listen to them a lot but I’ve always liked what I’ve heard. I knew, that they have to be good. But didn’t expect them being THIS good. So warm and pleasant singing, even when they sing about dying of cancer. One of the best sets, for sure.
Sweatpants Party. They did really great for their 3rd show ever. Sounded a lot like The Apers to me, which is a good thing, actually.
Kurt Baker Combo. Not the band itself, they do what they do, and do it really awesome, but more the tone, sound and feel of their bass player were the best at the fest (I’m trying to play bass for more than 15 years and I pay attention to that) and the fact, that their drummer Liam Malakian was born in Moscow and speaks Russian.

4. The Ponches (I’ve been around preparing for Kepi set in bars), Airbag (love the band, but needed a little rest) and Senzabenza (I were eating, but heard a lot of good things about their set afterwards).

5. When the last day of the party was over, Franz Barcella asked us about our preferences for the next year and I asked for Squirtgun, Carbona (from Brazil) and I’m not really sure what I called for the 3rd band (The Huntingtons maybe), but now I’m totally sure. Blitzkid, Squirtgun and Carbona. In this order. The Huntingtons will be requested many times anyway.
